Our Shared Future
9 in 10 young people in Asia are already using AI daily
A groundbreaking 2024 survey [1] of 884 young people aged 13 to 24 across five Southeast Asian countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand) reveals a powerful truth: AI is already woven into the daily lives of nearly 90% of youth. They’re using it daily to learn, create, stay informed, and shape the world around them.
This is not a future trend. It’s happening now.
The majority of youth access AI tools through their phones.
Mobile phones are the gateway. Sixty percent of those surveyed access AI through their devices, making mobile-first solutions the key to reaching and empowering this rising generation.
Asian youth aren’t just adapting to change. They’re leading it.
